We know how useful a simple change in scenery can be for any learning process, and that is why we have created our travelling classroom program. This involves a 4-12-week trip to 4 new locations across Ecuador, each providing a new look on the country’s culture while also teaching you Spanish along the way. You will engage in a bunch of enjoyable activities while improving your Spanish skills and meeting some incredible people.
Quito is the “first stop”, and with it being the capital city of Ecuador it only seems right. You will visit the Mitad del Mundo, where you will experience the beautiful natural hot pool. Or, if you prefer, there are biking activities that will take you on a tour through the Cotopaxi National Park, home to the Cotopaxi Volcano, the highest active volcano in the world.
After visiting Quito, you can move on to the city of Cuenca, where you will be able to take in all of the stunning museums filled with great pieces of art, as well as the Pumapungo ruins. If you prefer, you can visit the ruins of Ingapirca, the largest of their kind in the whole country.
The other option is to visit the Amazon jungle, and experience everything that it has to offer. You can do some raft building and sail down the river, or you can simply take in the surroundings of this truly wonderful place.
After this you will move on to Manta, a city by the sea. There are lots of great activities that you can partake in here, from paragliding to relaxing by the water. You can head over to the “Panama hat” or go and do some whale watching at the “little Galapagos” island.
The last stop on the tour is Montañita, where you will be able to take part in all of the activities that the school has to offer. You can take surf lessons, do some yoga and watch the sunset or even learn salsa dancing!Montañita has so much to offer and you will really enjoy your time there.
